Sharri credits her mother and both her grandmothers for her love of the kitchen, where everyone gathers around the aromatics. Her grandmothers taught her at a very young age, the art of Southern cooking, from baking fluffy southern biscuits and cornbread to putting up preserves; while her mother honed in on teaching her more sophisticated cooking using fats and spices to meld and create savory dishes. Sharri’s passion is cooking and discovering new techniques and skills, and the kitchen is her happy place where everyone can gather for a sample of love from the stove. Sharri enjoys entertaining having catered many private parties, bridal/baby showers, and hosted hundreds of dinner parties. Sharri has her late father to especially thank for pushing her to do what she is passionate about and she is thrilled to have Chefs for Seniors to fulfill her desire to feed and help others.

When Sharri is not creating unique dishes in the kitchen, she enjoys spending time with her husband and family at the beach, playing with her two kitties, or reading the latest cookbooks. Sharri looks forward to sharing her culinary creations in the St. Petersburg and Clearwater communities.
