Jennifer Espeland CSAa native Iowan and a certified specialist in aging. She couldn’t be more thrilled to be an owner and personal chef with Chefs for Seniors in Des Moines. Her culinary experience is varied: she scratch-baked over 200 pies each weekend at a local diner during high school; oversaw a large commercial kitchen in an independent senior living community; and most recently adapted her cooking for her son’s vegan lifestyle. She enjoys an awarded career in commercial real estate and is an active member and volunteer in several local and national organizations. Helping people remain independent with nutritious meals and fulfilling conversation in the comfort of their homes is a longtime vision she’s had, and that is what Chefs for Seniors allows.
